Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Patriot Hitches drop hitch with stacked receivers. Now this drop hitch with stacked receivers has been designed by a US military veteran to slide into your-two-and-a-half-inch trailer hitch receiver, and give you the ultimate towing and hauling flexibility and versatility. You're going to receive multiple two-inch receivers here that are going to let you mount your ball mount, your tow bar, your bike rack, or your cargo carrier, all at various heights. And this has a gross towing weight of 25,000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight of 2,500 pounds. And this is gonna give you a maximum drop and rise of about 10 inches.

So this is gonna be super adjustable. You're just going to remove the stacked receivers and mount it on this shank wherever you want it to give you that height adjustment that you're looking for. So this is going to be pretty simple to operate there at the back of your truck. Now if you're not using this for towing, you could flip this horizontally and use this as a hitch step. So you've got that flexibility with this as well.

Now, a nice feature that this has is built-in rattling prevention. You've got these two stainless steel bolts here that you can just tighten down to the shank that you have it set it on and have the other one tightened down on the accessory that you have installed there, and that's going to take the vibration and the rattling away. So automatic built-in anti-rattle, which is nice with this. And as I mentioned, the bolts are stainless steel. And this is gonna be really pretty sturdy, I think it's gonna be pretty dependable for you.

This is constructed of solid steel, and it has a really nice durable textured powder coat finish on the unit itself to help protect it from rust. And as you can see here are included pins and clips, are coated in a blue paint, which give a nice color to this. They also have this available with red pins, and then black textured pins that match the finish of the unit itself. I have noticed though, that especially when you're using the pins and clips for the first time with this paint on it, you might get a little bit of paint coming off of the inside there, so you might have a few flecks of paint there overall. But overall it's a nice aesthetic, it looks pretty nice.

Let me give you some measurements, in case you're wondering about the size of this unit. Lemme see if I can give you the height first. So from bottom to top, as I hope you can see there, we're sitting pretty close to 13-and-a-quarter inches tall. And then looking at the overall length from front to back, lemme line that up there so you can see, we're sitting right at 10 inches. And then, if you're wondering about the measurement from the center of what I'm calling the accessory hole to the center of the first hitch pin hole and then the second hitch pin hole. So let me line that up there for you on center. So it looks like we're sitting pretty close to five inches on center, and six and a half inches on center. And then from the center of our second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, looks like we're sitting right at one and a half inches. So hopefully those measurements are helpful for you. These pins and clips are gonna be five eighths of an inch. So anyway, this is gonna give you quite a bit of flexibility, I think it's gonna be a durable product for you. And again, designed by a US veteran. If you're looking for something similar to this that's going to match the specs that you're looking for, this is gonna be a great option to consider. I did fail to mention this does come with a hex wrench there to tighten down those bolts to get that rattle out.
